1. How do I create my own account? /Who is eligible for an account?

FORUM SYD staff members are all eligible for an eLearning online account. Each member receives the log in instructions automatically from the system administrator.However, members from Swedish Based Organisations and their implementing partners should write to capacitybuilding@forumsyd.org requesting for an account. We will aim to have your account set up within 2 working days. You can also click on the Contact Us tab to write to the same email.


 2. I forgot my password; how can I reset it?

On the Courses page, and click Reset Password on the right. An email will be sent to you with a new password.


 3. How do I change my password?

After logging in, click on the User Profile button on the top right (the image of a person), this will give you options to change your personal settings including your password. After a successful change of password, an email will be sent to you to confirm the same.


B. Courses

1. How do I enroll in a Learning course?

Once you are logged in, click on the Learning Center tab, you will then see a link to browse or search course. Click on the course you would like to register for it will show an Enroll button that you can use to register for the course.


2. How long do the courses take?

This information is available for some courses but not all. When you click on the course, if the information is available, it will be shown on the enrollment page. Times vary from course to course, but all are flexible in that you can return to where you last left off and move at your own personal pace. Some courses provided will insist that you move at a certain pace, but all this information will be given to you when you open the course details.


3. Can I resume a course where I left off?

Many courses offer the option to save your location within a course and return to it later. If you wish to resume a course later on, click the Bookmark icon within a course and your current location will be saved. The next time you login and access that course, you will be returned to your bookmarked location.


4. Who can access FORUM SYD’s virtual learning Platform?

The platform can be accessed by the FORUM SYD staff, Swedish Based organisations (Partners) and their implementing partners. However, in order to browse the course catalogue, register for a course or to take a course, you must be logged in.


5. How much do the courses cost?

The courses offered are at no cost unless stated otherwise.


6. How do I enrol in a Learning course?

Once you are logged in, click on the Courses tab, you will then see a Course Catalogue tab and search course. Click on the course you would like to register for it will show an Enrol button that you can use to register for the course.

8. Where can I find a list of the upcoming courses?

All the upcoming courses are listed on the Home page. However, you are encouraged to browse through the course catalogue for other courses.


9. How many courses can I enrol in?

You may register for as many courses as you like but we generally recommend you don’t enrol for more than five courses at a time. Once complete, you may register for more.


10. Do I get a certificate at the end of the course?

For all the FORUM SYD courses, you will get a certificate of completion. However, for all the other courses, you should check under the course description for more details.
